NaNoWriMo and Great Deals on Writing Software

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and is an initiative to encourage people to write a novel in 30 days. I haven’t done it before but it looks like a lot of fun and there is large community involved. For more information visit http://www.nanowrimo.org

The other great thing about National Novel Writing Month is promotions for great writing software.

First up, Storyist is offering a free license that lasts from now until December 10th, so you can try their software and even use it to write your novel. http://storyist.com/nanowrimo/

The very popular and critically acclaimed Scrivener, is also providing a trial that allows to use the software from now until December 10th. Scrivener is going one step further by offering you a 50% discount if you complete a novel during National Novel Writing Month http://www.literatureandlatte.com/nanowrimo.html
